KOREA: DONGDAEMOON (DDP, cotton candy ice cream)

Long time no blog! I am currently in Korea. It is insanely humid here because it’s after the rain season.

Today, I went to Dongdaemoon to do some shopping and I got to eat some cute little snacks!  I Will do a haul of what I bought in Dongdaemoon in a separate post since I did some damage. On this post, I will be sharing where I went in Dongdaemoon.

  1. Doota Mall
    • this mall is huge, about 5 floors if I remember correctly. This place sells clothes that are designed by independent designers. Clothes here are bit pricy but they are very unique and on trend. If you want to get some inspirations from them, definitely check Doota!
    • The best part about this mall is that on the lowest level, there is a cute cafe called Remicone. Remicone sells cute cotton candy ice cream and artsy snacks. They are most famous for colorful drinks and cool unique ice creams. Processed with VSCO with hb2 presetIMG_6208IMG_6217IMG_62182. DDP (also known as Dongdaemoon Plaza)
    • This place is very famous because it is where fashion shows are held in korea. There is currently a Louis vuitton exhibit going on (until 8/28/17) and you have to book a free ticket online!
    • very cool to take pictures here.

April Favorites

Long time no blog everyone!

I am glad I’m back!

Today, I have a small favorites for you guys!

I couldn’t find the exact one so I’ve linked items that are similar:

  2. tinted 2
  3. tinted 3

This item I am about to tell you are my MOST favorite pair of shorts. These are so comfortable that I have 4 of these and I pretty much wear them everyday!Processed with VSCO with hb2 preset

Last favorite is my Birkenstock! I have an orange one which is very eye catching. Love all the colors they have and I ended up getting another pair (white one). Birkenstocks are very comfortable and definitely worth getting!

☠️ 💀 Grunge Look 💀 ☠️

Today is bit different from my usual “type” of outfits.

I have been wanting to shift my style to grunge or boyish so my first instant thought was denim on denim.

I wore my all time favorite jacket from Urban Outfitters ( Promo Code: EXTENDED BFF 30% all sale items through 11/26)- I bought Large for more oversized look.

My beanie is also from Urban Outfitters ( Promo Code: EXTENDED BFF 30% all sale items through 11/26) – this beanie is plain but it really adds more to your outfit!

👛 Thrift shop haul 👛

I have always thought that thrifting was not clean and always thought, “What can I even buy there? Old clothes?”

But recently, through mass media, thrifting has been popular and I thought I’d give it a try…. and of course… it was a fun experience and I would definitely go again.

So past month or so, I have been into vintage themes so I thought thrifting would be perfect to find vintage items.

Without further due, let’s take a look at what I have found and bought!

First thing I bought is this grey/brown chunky sweater.

This was $2.99 and I fell in love with the sweater and the price. I layered this with the turtle neck I was wearing and I really loved the combination. Chunky sweaters could easily be styled with boyfriend jeans so I am so so happy with this purchase!img_0271

Second item: Red Crop top

This shirt looks like someone cut off the bottom part of the shirt to make it into a crop top.

I really don’t mind the look of it; I actually like it as a crop top.

I don’t have much color in my wardrobe so I thought this shirt could change the color scheme a little. I honestly don’t know how I will style this shirt yet but follow my Instagram to see what I do with it!

like what? I found this in a thrift shop! I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I FOUND THIS!

I found perfectly fitting jeans from Tommy. It still has a logo on the back pocket and all. I just love love this pair. Do I really need to say much more on this? I cannot wait to style this with EVERYTHING.img_0589img_0588img_0590

My fourth find: slip dress

At first, I wasn’t sure about getting this dress but the more I stared at it, the more I have fallen in love with it. The material is silky material, very soft. I love the color scheme (and like I said before, I need more colors in my wardrobe). The straps are adjustable and I am going to style this with plain tshirts and turtlenecks. img_0591

I honestly am so pleased with my first ever experience at thrift shop and I am really looking forward to more trips to Goodwill!

🍂 soft cotton & soft denim outfit 🍂

Hello everyone!! So lately, I’ve been into off shoulder tops; it gives me that soft girly look and it really looks like I put some effort onto my outfit.

My super soft off shoulder top is from Brandy Melville (similar).

To go with that, I am wearing my favorite uneven denim skirt from LuvLuv shop in NY. (similar).

I then put on my ALL TIME FAVORITE WATCH: Daniel Wellington!! (Ta-Da!!! I bet you aren’t even surprised-.- )

Lastly, to finish off my outfit, I wore my favorite shoes from ASOS.; I love the black stud details  and I love how these shoes really compliment my legs.
